Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Features

Space and versatility.

Space and versatility.

Versatile seating configurations

The more, the merrier.

The 7-seat Tiguan Allspace allows you to customise your seating configuration for between one and seven people, whatever your journey calls for. The back and middle rows fold completely flat, so you can choose extra people, or extra luggage.

Space and versatility.

Luggage capacity

All the space.

The adaptable seating configurations mean the Allspace really lives up to its name, with an astonishing 1775L of storage capacity when arranged as a two-seater. When set up as a 5-seater, storage capacity is 700L, and an impressive 230L when all seats are in use.

Style and design.

Exterior

Attract some longer looks.

With its sleek lines, striking proportions and powerful on-road presence, the Tiguan Allspace has been designed to turn heads. Compared to the 5-seat Tiguan, the 7-seat Allspace is longer overall, with a longer wheelbase, and radiates a sense of space, style and understated confidence.

Style and design.

Badging

Wear it with pride.

Unique design elements such as Tiguan Allspace badging on the tailgate and distinctive front quarter panel 4MOTION badging (on all 4MOTION variants) let other motorists know you’re driving one of the most capable vehicles on the road.

Style and design.

Alloy wheels

Upgrade your profile

Adding to the style and sophistication of the Tiguan Allspace are the unique 18-inch ‘Kingston’ alloy wheels on Comfortline models and 19-inch ‘Auckland’ alloys on Highline models. Alternatively, upgrade to the optional R-Line package and really make a statement with 20” ‘Suzuka’ alloys.

Style and design 2

Interior

Sleek and spacious.

The sophistication and comfort you expect of a Volkswagen are on display throughout the cabin of the Allspace. The Comfortline features Checker Flag Titanium trim, while the Highline features Dark Grid. Both provide a sense of class and distinction, while driver and passenger seats are supple to the touch and supportive even on long drives.

Style and design 2

LED tail lights

Brighten your outlook.

Dynamic LED headlights and a full chrome grille come as standard on both the Comfortline and Highline equipment grades, but the Highline sets itself apart with a chrome strip below the grille and premium LED taillights.

Safety.

Safety.

Driver Fatigue Detection*

A welcome wake-up call.

This potentially life-saving system continually evaluates steering movements and other independent signals, and if fatigue is detected, warns the driver with an alarm, and a message on the Multi-Function Display recommends the driver takes a break.

Safety.

Multi Collision Brake

Prevent follow-on collisions.

When the sensors detect a collision, this state-of-the-art system applies the brakes to slow down the vehicle so that a secondary impact will be lessened or avoided. During braking, the hazard and brake lights are turned on and stay on. The driver can take over at any time.

Safety.

Park Assist*

Parking's a piece of cake.

Using sensors on either side of the front and rear bumpers, together with parking distance sensors front and rear, Park Assist actively helps you 90-degree park, back into a park and get in and out of a parallel park.

Safety.

Rear View Camera*

Parking's a piece of cake.

Whether reversing out of a busy parking lot or trying to squeeze into a tricky spot, an extra set of eyes is always handy. The Rear View Camera displays a live picture on your screen that not only shows what's behind you, but also multi-angle views and dynamic guidance lines, which all come together to make reversing safer and easier.

Safety 2

Optional Area View*

Get the full picture.

Available with the optional Sound & Vision package, four cameras provide live information from around the car into the cockpit, providing a reassuring all-round 360° view of your vehicle’s environment. Four wide-angle lenses concealed in the wing mirrors and the front and rear of the Allspace extend the driver’s field of vision, providing assistance during difficult parking manoeuvres.

Safety 2

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)*

Cruise on through.

The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system lets you set the speed you want to travel and the gap you want to allow between you and the car in front. Using a radar sensor, the car then maintains your speed and your distance. In doing so it makes life easier for the driver, particularly on long journeys, and reduces the risk of exceeding the speed limit. Standard on Highline models and available as part of the optional Driver Assistance Package on the Comfortline models.

Safety 2

Front Assist with Emergency Brake*

Stay on the front foot.

Using a radar sensor, Front Assist detects a possible collision with the vehicle in front. It will warn you and prepare the car for braking. If nothing changes, it applies the brakes giving you a better chance of avoiding or minimising a collision. When you’re travelling below 30km/h, City Emergency Brake will prepare the brakes if a collision is likely. If the driver doesn’t brake, the system will do it automatically.

Safety 2

Pedestrian Monitoring System*

Always one step ahead.

Whether you're negotiating busy urban roads or stop-and-go traffic, the Allspace is always keeping an eye out. The City Emergency Brake with Pedestrian Monitoring function uses a radar sensor in the vehicle to detect when something suddenly enters your vehicle's path without warning. It firstly gives an acoustic and visual signal to warn the driver, then prepares the vehicle for hard braking. If the driver fails to react, the system automatically performs emergency braking.

Safety 3

Lane Assist*

Stay right where you are.

Using a camera to monitor the markings on the road ahead, Lane Assist helps keep you safe by working to prevent you leaving your lane unintentionally. If you start to leave your lane without indicating the system takes corrective steering action. If you still don’t respond a message will appear in the Multi-Function Display in conjunction with a warning tone.

Safety 3

Traffic Jam Assist*

Making traffic bearable.

To help you get through stop-and-go traffic easily, Traffic Jam Assist uses proven functions like Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Assist to allow easy, slow driving in traffic jams. The car will follow the vehicle ahead at a speed of 0 to 60 km/h and automatically operate the accelerator and brakes within system limits to help you avoid typical traffic jam collisions.

Safety 3

Side Assist*

Embrace the change.

The Side Assist function, standard on Highline variants can help make changing lanes even safer. You still need to use your rear vision mirror and glance over your shoulder, but the system’s sensors will alert you to presence of a vehicle you may have missed that could be a risk if you change lanes.

^ App-Connect is compatible for selected apps with the latest smartphone versions of iOS and Android.

# Do not use handheld mobile devices while the engine vehicle is running.

~ Gesture control is not available on Comfortline variants.

* Safety technologies are designed to assist the driver, but should not be used as a substitute for safe driving practices.

** Traffic Jam Assist is available as part of the optional Driver Assistance package on Comfortline variants and standard on the Highline variants.
